The FSA Political Action Committee

Contributions to the The Florida Society of Anesthesiologists Political Action Committee (FSAPAC) provide funding for candidates for political office in Florida. Recipients of PAC funds are selected based on their willingness to listen to our message and to share our vision of providing quality anesthesiology care.

The Board of Directors (PAC Board) of FSAPAC shall consist of four ex-officio, voting members. Board members serve by virtue of their position within the FSA and remain in their PAC roles as long as they hold that position: The President, The President-Elect, The Immediate Past President, and The Chair of the Committee of Legislative Affairs.

Three at-large, voting members of the PAC Board serve a two year term. They are nominated by the FSA President (after consultation with the FSA Executive Committee, the FSAPAC Board members, and such other persons as the President shall deem necessary) and with the approval of the FSA Board of Directors. These individuals shall be eligible to serve one additional two-year term if nominated and approved according to Article VI Section 1. Terms of the at-large members shall be staggered whenever possible.
