Each year, FSA members travel to Tallahassee to meet directly with lawmakers during the legislative session. When physician anesthesiologists sit across the table from legislators, they provide context no one else can: real-world patient care experience, clinical judgment, and the consequences of poorly designed policy.
For 2026, these meetings took place the last week of January. Twenty-five FSA representatives- Board members, Legislative Committee members, and residents – spent two productive days speaking to Florida legislators, continuing to advocate for safe, physician-led anesthesia.
